Mālama Dama is a dedicated freestyle kendama competition hosted by Snarkle Rocks.
Mālama is a Hawaiian word that has a deep and rich meaning. At its core, mālama means "to care for," "to preserve," or "to protect."
This event embodies the spirit of stewardship, responsibility and respect for kendama— both as a sport and an artform, the community behind it and ourselves.

Kendama is a traditional Japanese skill toy consisting of a wooden ball attached to a handle with a string. The objective is to perform various tricks and stunts by catching the ball on different parts of the handle.

As a Participant: We’ll have different divisions for all skill levels! Stay tuned for registration openings to compete.
